 Important Service Advisory: Trip Cancellations.

The ongoing impact of COVID-19 has affected GCTD’s Transit services, causing significant staffing challenges for meeting our service standards. While we are doing everything possible to maintain our service levels and goals, there may be unforeseen delays and cancellations as we move through this challenging period. GCTD Transit has a number of tools you can check before going to your bus stop so that you can be sure your bus is running on schedule:

  • Download the GOVCbus app to check the current trip detours in Real Time.  This is the most up-to-date source of information.
  • GCTD staff will post scheduled cancellations on this page with as much notice as possible.  Check back here often.
  • Call our Customer Service Center at 805-487-4222, Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm and our bilingual staff will assist you.

If you are traveling between the hours of 7:00pm and 12:00am, you can also utilize the Late Night Safe Rides service, available to anyone at a cost of $2 per ride. To book a trip, please call 805-485-2319, ext. 1. More information on Late Night Safe Rides available here.
