GCTD Makes Difficult Decisions Amid Growing Concerns Over Increased COVID-19 Cases

Staff shortages lead to trip cancellations and the Administrative office will open for appointments only.

GCTD continues to manage a difficult Bus Operator shortage, resulting in the need to cancel several trips on nearly all routes. The situation is fluid and constantly evolving. Our teams are working tirelessly to publish all information as it becomes available. For those trips that are canceled with anticipation, GCTD staff publishes a list available on the Service Alerts page on our website, and prints flyers and posts inside the buses one week in advance. In addition, we are utilizing all available tools to inform our passengers, including automatic announcements on the bus and updating all information on the GoVCBus mobile app - a great resource for bus tracking and latest alerts. All other cancellations are posted as soon as they are received. We understand the disruption this causes and we thank you for your patience during this difficult time.

Additionally, the GCTD Administration office will open by appointment only. If you need to claim a Lost and Found item, please contact Customer Service at 805-487-4222 to report a missing item and they can assist you with retrieval. Please allow a minimum of 24 hours for processing. If you need to reach a member of our administrative staff, please refer to the Staff Directory.

Again, thank you for your patience as we navigate these challenges.
