NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on December 3rd, 2025, or as soon thereafter as practicable, at a regularly scheduled public meeting of the BOARD of DIRECTORS of the GOLD COAST TRANSIT DISTRICT (the “Board”), which will be held at 10:00 AM, the Board will consider entering into an energy service contract with Distributed Solar Projects, LLC or its designated affiliate, for the installation of certain energy savings measures on property owned or controlled by GOLD COAST TRANSIT DISTRICT.
At said meeting, the Board will hold a public hearing and consider the following action to adopt findings required by California Government Code section 4217.12 a:
ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS THAT THE COST OF THE PROPOSED SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC ENERGY SYSTEM AND BATTERY STORAGE PROJECT TO BE DESIGNED, CONSTRUCTED AND OPERATED PURSUANT TO THE TERMS OF AN ENERGY SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DISTRIBUTED SOLAR PROJECTS, LLC, WILL BE OFFSET AND WILL BE LESS THAN THE ANTICIPATED MARGINAL COST TO THE AUTHORITY OF ELECTRICAL OR OTHER ENERGY THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN CONSUMED BY THE DISTRICT IF SUCH PROJECT WAS NOT COMPLETED.
The resolution, agreement and supporting documents will be included with the Board’s regular public agenda for the December 3rd, 2025, meeting at 1901 Auto Center Drive, Oxnard, CA 93036.
